Continuous Plant

For drying fruit and vegetables, in particular: tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, onions, plums, peaches, apricots, apples, pears and other food products.
Drying removes a specific quantity of water from a food product through evaporation; this is caused by the supply of dry hot air and the contemporaneous removal of product vapour.
These plants are based on the forced movement of air which, after being suitably treated in the air treatment group, horizontally blows on the vegetable matrix and dries it.
The machine is suitable for producing all semidry and some dry products.
The machine has Internet-controlled alarm, management and programming systems;
The machine is equipped with an automatic wash system.

Operation

This type of machine was studied and designed to continuously produce dry and semidry products. It removes the water from the vegetable matrix in a manner that stresses the vegetable as little as possible. This operation is carried out at low temperatures, with low humidity and making best use of the production characteristics of the machine itself; the product is continually and delicately turned over, giving it the reviving stages that are necessary for guaranteeing optimal drying. All this gives the products:

  • Excellent retention of the organoleptic characteristics (colour, aroma, flavour)
  • Very high levels of drying uniformity, close to 100%.
  • Very low labour presence (two working units per machine);

The production capacity of the machine depends on the set drying time and temperature, therefore on the vegetable matrix and the end product to be obtained.

Static Plant

Our plants use the forced movement of air which, after being suitably treated in the air treatment group, blows on the vegetable part and dries it.
The machine is suitable for producing all semidry and some dry products.

Operation

The operator places the previously cut tomatoes on trays. The trays are placed on a trolley which, once filled, is placed in the drying chamber. The chamber is then closed and the drying cycle started.
This type of machine was studied and designed to batch-produce dry and semidry products. It simply removes the water from the vegetable matrix in a manner that stresses the vegetable as little as possible. This operation is carried out while working at low temperatures and with low humidity to give:

  • Excellent retention of the organoleptic characteristics (colour, aroma, flavour)
  • Uniform drying, among 70 and 90%.
  • Low production costs (electricity and heat)

The production capacity of the machine depends on the set drying time and temperature, therefore on the vegetable matrix and the end product to be obtained.
